Comfortable shoes with non-slip soles
Lisbon is a perfect city to visit on foot, but it is also the “city of seven hills”. Some streets have steep inclines and slippery slopes which, combined with the uneven surface of the Portuguese pavement, can make it difficult to navigate, especially for those who are unfamiliar with them. Shoes with smooth, non-slip soles are therefore an absolute must.
Sunscreen
Bearing in mind that the sun shines 247 days a year in Lisbon, there’s an accessory you can’t miss in your suitcase: sunscreen with a minimum protection factor of 50, is an essential.
